Future, the international specialist media group and leading digital publisher, today announces further expansion of its best-selling and award winning digital iPad magazine, Photography Week, by making it available on iPhone.
The new iPhone edition has been developed from the ground up to ensure that it’s as compelling an experience on a smaller display as it is on tablet.
It means more people than ever before will be able to enjoy the magazine’s innovative blend of video tips and tutorials, professional interviews and inspiring images.
New subscribers to Photography Week on either device will get FIVE issues free and pay less than 40p/60c for every issue, while existing subscribers to the iPad edition will get the iPhone version completely free of charge if they use the same AppStore login on both devices.
As well as attracting the world’s largest Facebook community for a magazine in its sector, Photography Week has dominated the Photo Newsstand Charts in the UK, US and countless other international territories ever since its launch in September last year.
Its success was also recognised at the 2013 UK magazine ‘Oscars’, the PPA Awards, where Photography Week was named ‘Digital Innovation of the Year’. The judges praised the use of user-generated content which sees the best reader photo each week getting published on the front cover.
Commenting on the iPhone edition launch, Editor Paul Grogan said: “Photography Week has been a remarkable launch first establishing itself as the market-leading weekly in a competitive space, and then bagging the consumer magazine industry’s top digital award.
“Rather than just making ‘a smaller version’ of the tablet edition, we’ve redesigned and redeveloped every page for iPhone to ensure it’s as compelling an experience for readers as possible.”
