Houston Microsoft WPC Booth #1207 Mimecast® announced today that Peter Bauer, CEO and co-founder, Julian Martin, Vice President of Strategic Alliances and Justin Pirie, Cloud Strategist, will be presenting at the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference 2013 in Houston, Texas on both Tuesday, July 9 and Wednesday, July 10. Mimecast, the leading supplier of cloud-based email archiving, continuity and security for Microsoft Exchange, hosted Exchange and Office 365, will be discussing the business opportunity of cloud technologies and their partnership with Microsoft. Details of each executive’s sessions are included below:
Peter Bauer,“Leadership with Conviction: From Microsoft Certified Engineer to CEO,” July 9, 3 4 pm CT: Bauer’s presentation will highlight the characteristics of successful business leaders, and focus specifically on how an unwavering conviction can help transform an idea into a business reality. Drawing on his own experiences, Bauer will share his growth from a Microsoft Certified Engineer to a CEO of an international, multimillion dollar company, all with the help of the courage of his conviction that he had the right idea. He will share stories of the times when his conviction was tested and how attendees can learn from his experiences.
Julian Martin and J. Peter Bruzzese,“Make Money in the Cloud with Mimecast: Learn How to Accelerate your Microsoft Cloud Business,” July 10, 2:30 pm CT: Martin and Bruzzese, co-founder and CIO of ClipTraining and Microsoft Exchange MVP, will explain how partnerships can enhance the transition of customers moving to the cloud, helping drive new levels of profitability and maintaining long term significant margins. Using examples from the company’s own channel program, Martin will share with attendees what makes Mimecast a compelling partner for Microsoft solution providers that ultimately want to make money in the cloud.
Justin Pirie,“Successfully entering the U.S. market: Practical Strategies for Bringing your Business to the United States,” July 9, 1:30 pm CT: Pirie’s panel will address the challenges many companies face when entering the U.S. business market, including how to ensure as smooth a transition as possible and choosing cities and regions. The session will offer advice, and include anecdotes of how Microsoft partners have successfully increased revenue from entering the U.S. and expanding business operations in the cloud.
