The popular downtown San Rafael eatery opened in November, 2012 and in a few short months has garnered critical reviews in the SF Chronicle, Marin IJ, Pacific Sun and Novato Advance for its innovative, Mediterranean-influenced cuisine.
Executive Chef Jay Yinger has crafted the new lunch menu to reflect fresh and seasonal menu items including Salad Niçoise ($14), Dungeness Crab Cake and Shaved Fennel Salad ($14), BLTA on toasted ciabatta roll ($11) add a farm fresh egg ($2), Green Couscous and Seasonal Veggies ($11), and the most popular menu item over the past few weeks, the Bavette Steak Sandwich with roasted sweet peppers, red onions, spring mix and house-made aioli, served with shoestring potatoes or green salad ($12).
"The feedback we've had from our diners is that they crave delicious lunch choices from salads to more hearty fare, in a casual, elegant setting where they can sit in comfortable chair, order from our extensive list of wines by the glass, take in the rotating gallery of art on the walls and gentle jazz music in the background, top if off with an Italian-style espresso, then go back to work or on with their day feeling refreshed." says Chef Yinger.
