Savis Tecnologia e Sistemas S.A., the leading company of the Tepro Consortium, which was hired by the Brazilian Army to implement and integrate the Brazilian Integrated Border Monitoring System (Sistema Integrado de Monitoramento de Fronteiras Sisfron), has concluded the selection of the main suppliers for all subsystems of the Pilot Project.
This initial phase of Sisfron is the largest system of its kind in the world and will include monitoring approximately 650 km along the borders of the States of Mato Grosso and Mato Grosso do Sul, under the responsibility of the Military Command West (Comando Militar do Oeste).
Among the hires are Advantech, Harpia Sistemas, RustCon, Decatron, MTel, Gigacom, BrasilSat, Digitel, Agrale, and Volkswagen do Brasil, joining the previously contracted Harris, Medav, AEL International, Stemac, CM Comandos, Enecol, Casa da Floresta, and RFCom.
