Infor, a leading provider of business application software serving more than 70,000 customers, and Ciber, a global information technology consulting company, today announced an initiative to jointly develop an Implementation Accelerator for Infor Human Capital Management (HCM) applications. The acceleration tool is being created to help organizations deploy Infor’s HCM solutions with reduced time, expense, complexity and risk.
Infor recently launched the “Implementation Accelerators” initiative. “Through the Implementation Accelerators, organizations will have access to a more simplified, prescriptive deployment approach with preconfigured content, industry-specific templates and work plans,” said Steve Holdridge, senior vice president, Infor Consulting Services. Specifically, this application will help expedite strategic hiring by supporting the processes of finding, selecting and onboarding new employees.
“We chose Ciber as our development partner for the HCM Implementation Accelerator because of the company’s extensive experience with Infor applications and success rate implementing our HCM solutions,” said Amy Ihlen, Infor’s industry strategy director for HCM. “Ciber’s Infor practice has both technical and functional experts, which means the Ciber team is well-positioned to help companies make the most of their Infor solutions.”
The Implementation Accelerator will incorporate leading strategic hiring business practices developed through years of hands-on experience by Ciber and Infor Consulting Services (ICS) experts.
“Infor applications have tremendous power to help organizations efficiently and effectively manage human capital to support strategic business goals,” said Beth Dvoracek, Ciber’s senior Infor practice director. “This Implementation Accelerator allows organizations to leverage best practices through Infor software.”
Development teams are targeting a launch of the Implementation Accelerator in mid-summer 2013.
