More than 100 people gathered on May 30, 2013, at the facilities of SPRI Group, the official Business Development Agency for the Basque Government, for an event hosted by ABAS Ibérica and other local partners on the challenges of globalization.
Consolidating data to optimize global business
The auditorium was filled with representatives of recognized Spanish industrial midsize companies, as well as government agencies and business consultants. The conference was dedicated to the significance of information processing for globally active SMEs. Emphasis was placed on the importance of data management, not only at domestic headquarters, but also at foreign subsidiaries. Effective data management can provide business leadership the single, real-time overview required to respond to market changes quickly and increase supply chain efficiency. “On behalf of the global abas network, we thank everyone that participated in this great event and are looking forward to continuing the discussions about globalization and ERP. We offer our expertise and the best-practices of companies already using abas Business Suite on multiple continents to help grow the businesses of SMEs from the unique Basque region here in Spain,” explained Alberto Martin, Sales Director of ABAS Ibérica, after the event.
