Eurotech subsidiary Advanet Inc. announces the launch of the Advme8038, the new VXS/VMEbus CPU board based on the 4th Generation Intel® Core™ Processor.

Thanks to the VXS P0 connector provided by the Advme8038, VMEbus users can enjoy high-speed serial communication capability without modifying their existing assets: the VSX serial bus standard improves the speed of the parallel VMEbus allowing transfers up to 6.25 times faster.

Built on the new 22nm 3D Transistor Technology, the 4th generation Intel® Core™ processor on the Advme8038 reduces power consumption while adding performance, introduces the new Advanced Vector Extensions AVX2.0 and enhances security with AES-NI.

The Advme8038 adopts soldered ECC memory chips and is ideal for the systems requiring high reliability. It is equipped with a variety of I/O ports including Serial RapidIO, mSATA, eUSB2.0, XMC(Gen3)/PMC, Gigabit Ethernet, and serial ports.
