The conference, held in New York City on June 5-6, welcomes general and senior in-house counsel as they explore innovative practices and processes for successful corporate legal departments.
Cohen will leverage more than 30 years of management and legal experience as a corporate executive and consultant to discuss “Bringing eDiscovery In-House: Increasing Efficiency and Decreasing Costs.” The session, scheduled for June 5 at 4:45 pm. ET, will offer insight on the risks, advantages and disadvantages of bringing discovery in-house in regards to preserving and collecting evidence, minimizing data sets, analyzing quality and productivity, optimizing document review and predictive coding.
Cohen will lend his own perspective to the discussion by introducing how Language-Based Analytics which leverages language in the collection to understand the content specifically related to the issues enables legal organizations to save significant time and money while defensibly tackling enormous amounts of potentially responsive information.

Rich Cohen, vice chairman of RenewData, is responsible business development and corporate development for RenewData. He is a member of the American and Ohio State Bar Association, and has chaired the American Bar Association's Coordinating Group on Energy Law and co-chaired the American Bankruptcy Institute's Mass Torts Subcommittee, and has been a member of the ABA Class Actions/Derivative Suits Subcommittee. Cohen is a member of the Corporate Counsel Advisory Board for The Metropolitan Corporate Counsel and a recipient of the Distinguished Legal Service Award conferred by Corporate Legal Times. Cohen holds a Bachelor degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo and a Juris Doctor from the University of Akron School of Law.
