AWS Direct Connect is a dedicated network connection between the AWS network and outside networks, allowing for the exchange of data on a dedicated network path instead of over the public Internet.
This new service will allows Tranquil Hosting clients that are using Amazon Web Services to reduce costs, increase bandwidth, and provide more stable network connectivity than Internet-based connections.
Using industry standard 802.1q VLANs, this dedicated connection can be partitioned into multiple virtual interfaces for separate public and private environments. Virtual interfaces can be reconfigured easily to handle an organization's changing needs.
