MICROS Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: MCRS), a leading provider of information technology solutions for the hospitality and retail industries, is pleased to announce Bloomberry Resorts and Hotels, Inc. the first integrated resort in Entertainment City, Manila, has selected MICROS OPERA Property Management, MICROS OPERA Materials Control, and MICROS Point-of-Sale for its newly developed flagship project, Solaire Manila Resort and Casino. The Resort opened in March 2013.
Solaire Manila Resort and Casino occupies 18,500 square meters of aggregate gaming space, 500 rooms, suites, and bayside villas, seven specialty restaurants, and a host of Food and Beverage outlets including bars and food court. The new casino is located close to Manila’s airport, the Mall of Asia, and the Central Business District. For a property this expansive, Bloomberry Resorts and Hotels required a strong technology partner with robust, flexible, and integrated solutions.
