Software monetization leader SafeNet, Inc. today announced that the Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA), the principal trade association for the software and digital content industries, presented the company with a 2013 CODiE Award for its Sentinel Licensing Development Kit (LDK) in the Digital Rights Management Solution category. Sentinel LDK is the third offering from the Sentinel family to win a prestigious CODiE Award the company’s Sentinel Cloud Services won in 2012 and its Sentinel HASP won in 2008, both in the DRM Solution category.
Sentinel LDK is SafeNet’s next-generation software protection, licensing, and management platform. The solution provides software publishers with a comprehensive, out-of-the-box software monetization solution that enables them to protect their software, simplify operational processes, and maximize software revenue and profitability while enhancing the end-user experience.

The SIIA CODiE Awards is the industry’s only peer-reviewed awards program. The first-round review of nominees is conducted by media, publishing and information services executives (including members of the industry, analysts, media and bloggers), and bankers and investors. The CODiE Award judges are responsible for selecting the finalists and SIIA members vote on the finalist products; scores from both rounds are tabulated to select the winners.
