Replacing the Whole Barrel to Reduce U.S. Dependence on Oil, produced for the U.S. Department of Energy’s BioEnergy Technologies Office (formerly the Biomass Program), and the Critical Infrastructure Partnership Advisory Council Annual Update 2012, produced for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, each won an Award of Excellence in this year’s International Summit Awards. The Clean Energy Ministerial website won an Award of Merit.
The STC’s International Summit Awards competition recognizes the best technical communications created by expert communicators from across the United States. Entries exemplify the talent, creativity, and understanding required to successfully communicate technical, scientific, and business information.
The three international awards follow Awards of Excellence garnered by all three products in the regional 2012 2013 publications competition, held by the Washington, DC, chapter of the Society for Technical Communications. The regional Awards of Excellence qualified each document for submission to the international competition.
Entries that win an Award of Excellence consistently meet high standards in all areas and demonstrate an exceptional understanding of technical communication principles.
