Gosling holds a 1st Class BA Hons in Engineering, specialising in mechanical engineering topics from Trinity College, Cambridge. He brings 18 years’ experience of Finite Element Analysis, using advanced software tools to predict stress, strain, deformation, vibration, heat flow, and thermal expansion of components with complex geometry and under complex combined loading conditions.
For the last 11 years, Gosling has focused his analysis primarily on subsea equipment and pipelines, working with organisations such as Andrew Palmer and Associates, WS Atkins and Genesis Oil and Gas.
