Atrenta, Inc., the leading provider of SoC Realization solutions for the semiconductor and consumer electronics industries, today announced that frobas GmbH will collaborate with Atrenta on the integration of their SpyGlass® CDC clock domain crossing verification product into frobas' advanced SoC design flow. The terms of the collaboration will be managed as part of Atrenta's SpyLinks™ partner program.
"Atrenta welcome frobas to our SpyLinks program and we look forward to serving our mutual customers in the Munich area and across Europe," said Piyush Sancheti, vice president of product marketing at Atrenta. "frobas has a specific focus on highly complex and advanced SoC design, and this is where our SpyGlass family has highest impact."

frobas works closely with design and verification departments of their global customers, focusing on RTL design and functional verification based on SystemVerilog, Verilog, VHDL and SpyGlass CDC.
"Our proven strength and value for our customers is our unique engagement model. This model delivers expert knowledge, high quality, methodology guidance and execution that can map from smaller projects to huge SoCs. This ensures shorter project cycles compared to standard approaches," said Dieter Rudolf, senior vice president of sales & marketing at frobas. "The combination of functional verification and verifying complex CDC scenarios with SpyGlass CDC ensures a safe tapeout covering many corner cases.

The cooperation with Atrenta is an important milestone for frobas and our customers to make sure that CDC issues get resolved seamlessly."

The initial collaboration between frobas and Atrenta will focus on clock domain crossing verification with SpyGlass CDC. The two companies are currently in discussion to identify additional areas of collaboration for advanced SoC design.
