Gray Cat Marketing & Design announced today they are offering a series of social media classes designed to equip small business owners and entrepreneurs with the skills needed to effectively manage their own social media.
“Following discussions with small business owners, we realized that many individuals don’t understand how to use social media to promote their business and generate leads. We also learned that seminars on social media were not helpful to these people because they remembered and applied only a small portion of the information presented,” stated Alexandra Heseltine, Marketing Manager and Designer at Gray Cat Marketing & Design.

The series of classes will include defining your target market, five social media platforms, blogging, keywords strategies, integrating social media platforms and developing a publishing calendar. Participants will be required to bring their laptop or tablet with keyboard to the class.
Hands On Social Media classes will start on Monday, April 22, 2013, from 4 pm to 8 pm, and run for five consecutive weeks. Cost for the class is $325 and includes parking plus a light meal. Early bird registration is $295, which ends on April 15, 2013. Classes will be held at 222 St. John Street, Portland, ME.
