Designed with the consumer’s convenience in mind, the MiniStation™ Air allows for data to be easily uploaded into or downloaded from a smartphone or tablet via Wi-Fi. For PC or Mac, the SuperSpeed USB 3.0 cable allows the same ease of transfer of information.
Mobile Hotspot and internet sharing
Keeping up with consumers’ needs, Buffalo has pre-empted the concern that users might still require Wi-Fi connectivity to the internet while accessing the MiniStation™ Air.
As such, the Buffalo MiniStation™ Air is able to connect to a wireless LAN network, allowing users to use the internet on their smart device, while listening to music or browsing through pictures saved in the hard drive. This connectivity also renders the MiniStation™ Air useful as a mobile hotspot, allowing users to access the internet through the MiniStation™ Air, instead of clogging up the common Wi-Fi LAN network. A simple input of a password is all that is required to access the MiniStation™ Air and mobile hotspot.
Multi-User Connectivity
True to Buffalo’s innovative multi-user friendly policy, the MiniStation™ Air allows different types of smart devices to connect and access different files stored in the device simultaneously, perfect for both work and play.
