The patented home, office or small outdoors plant watering system, designed by a French mechanical engineer, has become the rage of Europe. The special plant waterers, sold in packages of three, require no maintenance or batteries it is solar powered. All that is required is to a screw on a used plastic soda, water or juice bottle that has been filled with water and nutrients, if desired, and insert the Solar Dripper into the soil. Units retail for $3.99, plus shipping and are available directly from the distributor. The watering system is expected to soon be in leading retail stores.
Unlike other indoor or other small plant watering units, the Solar Dripper is compact, easy to use, virtually indestructible, won’t clog or jam and ensures the proper amount of water and/or nutrients are dispensed, based on the amount (+ or -) of solar energy/light shining onto it. Life expectancy of the units has been shown to be many years (excepting physical damage).
To use, a simple durable, non-clogging polymer stem is inserted into the soil. To provide either water or nutrients, or both, any sized plastic bottle (not included) is screwed onto the Solar Dripper stem, then the entire compact unit is inserted into the soil. Depending on the size of filled plastic bottle used, the Solar Dripper unit will dispense the contents for as long as several weeks.
