Gilbert, AZ, United States, 2013/03/19 - Ken Stout Racing chose Agency Power to manufacture a new header and over pipe for their Scion FR-S that was featured at the 2012 SEMA show - Agency-Power.com / VividRacing.com.
Agency Power has started 2013 off collaborating with Ken Stout Racing. KSR wowed the crowds with their Scion FR-S at the 2012 SEMA show in November in Las Vegas. This car recently had a newly built Toyota Racing Development supercharger added on. The rumors at SEMA about TRD possibly creating one for the Scion FR-S were out there, and it all came about faster than anyone imagined. It only took fifteen weeks for TRD and their business partner, Magnuson Products, LLC, to develop and build the supercharger. The end product was delivered to KSR on February 14th, making it the only TRD supercharger for the FR-S in the world.
When KSR reached out to Agency Power, they jumped at the chance to work with their team. AP added more horsepower and an aggressive sound through the addition of the Agency Power Stainless Steel Header and the Power Over Pipe.
The all new Agency Power stainless steel header is made from 304 stainless steel and includes half inch thick flanges. The headers have a special designed collector to give perfect flow for increased horsepower. The header can work with the factory exhaust or with the Agency Power stainless steel mid pipe (sold separately).
The OEM over pipe and front pipe is a one piece unit that is restrictive and difficult to work with. Agency Power has designed a two piece system that allows more exhaust flow, is simple to install, and can be used with either aftermarket headers and catback or with the OEM system.
These 304 Stainless exhaust pieces are mandrel bent, tig welded and given a satin finish. The 2.5" piping is an increase over the factory system without being too large, which would reduce backpressure and decrease power.
KSR will be racing the Scion FR-S in the Perelli World Challenge GTS class with Robert Stout, the 2010 Pirelli World Challenge Touring Car Champion, behind the wheel.
