Elmo Motion Control will present its advanced motion control solutions for applications operating in extreme environmental conditions at leading military exhibitions Military & Aviation 2013 (booth #1, 2, March 5, Israel) and LAAD Defence & Security 2013 (stand L.156, April 9-12, Brazil).
Visitors to Elmo's booth will be able to explore a selection of the company's ExtrIQ line of servo drives designed specifically for military applications in their performance, efficiency, precision, durability, reliability and rugged casing. They comply with strict MIL STDS and are ideal for applications requiring solutions that meet tough environmental conditions.
Two such servo drives that will be displayed are the high-voltage, high-current Eagle HV that delivers up to 57kW of continuous power and the advanced B-Hornet 40A/120V for applications requiring very high-power pulses out of a very compact package.
Elmo doesn't just offer the widest range of servo drives, but the Gold Lion multi-axis military motion controller and the Elmo Application Studio (EAS) design software for fast and easy integration of any Elmo products into the system.
Elmo will also present some of its turnkey military solutions such as the Puma an expandable, 2-axis network controller that comprises a Gold Lion and two powerful Gold Hornet military servos of up to 20A/100V servo drives of up to 3.3kW each. The Puma "masters" the two internal servo drives and up to an additional 98 servo drives via an EtherCAT or CANopen field bus. Elmo also offers a customized control solution for military applications with 4-axes, 3-axes, 2-axes and 1-axis in any shape and features.
