SignalCore has released a matching pair of RF up and downconverters with frequency range of 1 MHz to 3.9 GHz. These high performance multi-staged converters are available in three form factors - USB, PXI Express, and a core module with the SPI/USB/RS-232 communication interface. Our up and downconverters exhibit very low phase noise, and have very wide dynamic range, ranking it among the best in the industry for precise frequency translation. SignalCore’s superheterodyne topology utilizes three LO stages, which maintains excellent reproduction of RF signal inputs with superior image rejection.
Our ruggedized, USB-controlled SC5304A RF downconverter and SC5404A RF upconverter come in a compact 1U form factor that is convenient for benchtop use, or can be rack-mounted with one of SignalCore’s standard mounting kits.
To satisfy the growing market for PXI modular instrumentation, the SC5305A RF downconverter and SC5405A RF upconverter are high performance and cost-effective choices for any PXI-based application requiring low noise and low phase noise frequency translation.
The SC5306A and SC5406A core modules are designed to meet the increased demand from OEM applications and system integrators.
