One of Vivid Racing’s customers from the GTRLife forum has entered his white Nissan GT-R in Tire Rack’s One Lap of America in May. His car has been reshoed with a fresh set of HRE Wheels from Vivid Racing. These are light enough to give him the extra performance and grip he needs when maneuvering the different tracks of this rally event. In satin black, these HRE P44SC wheels feature a bit more concavity. The front wheels are a 20 x 10 and the rears are a 20 x 12, giving his all wheel drive GT-R all the rubber it needs.
These HRE one-piece Forged Monoblok series wheels are custom manufactured from 100 percent aerospace grade forged 6061-T6 aluminum. Each is engineered to maximum strength, minimize unsprung mass, and reduce rotational inertia. The conical/concave face, along with the refined spoke designs, precision-engineered geometry, and lightweight characteristics of the Standard faced wheels. They are available in two sizes with a choice of width (8” 13”) and offset, are are OE TPMS and hardware compatible.
Tire Rack’s One Lap of America is a 7-day, 3,380-mile event that runs through mid and eastern states with different tracks. It starts in Indiana, goes south down to New Orleans, east to Florida, north to Pennsylvania, and then west back again to Indiana. You only get two sets of tires, and you have to take everything in only the space that you have in your vehicle. This really proves how well built a car is and the skill of the driver. Vivid Racing has noted that it will also be represented with another customer’s white Porsche Turbo S, formerly of VR, that is taking part in the One Lap, too.
