SWHR has been a key advocate of F2F, a national campaign designed to support those women in the U.S. armed services, which highlights the unique issues faced by women veterans.

This Monday, Veterans Across America on behalf of F2F and Project Valor, will host a benefit presenting two programs supporting returning veterans during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. “It is an extraordinary opportunity to highlight women veterans through F2F,” Greenberger says.

Phyllis E. Greenberger, M.S.W., is the President and CEO of the Society for Women’s Health Research (SWHR), a national non-profit recognized as the thought leader in research on biological differences in disease and dedicated to transforming women’s health through science, advocacy, and education.

Greenberger has served as SWHR’s President and CEO since its founding in 1990 and sits on the SWHR Board of Directors. Through her leadership, biological differences are now widely known and recognized as a critical factor in women’s health.

Greenberger has presented and spoken to international and national audiences including the American Jewish Congress Commission for Women’s Empowerment, the International Pharmaceutical Federation, the International Council of Nurses, the Aspen Institute Health Forum, TEDxNASA and the Biotechnology Industry Organization. Greenberger frequently testifies before Congress advocating for additional women’s health research and funding.

Greenberger currently serves on numerous national boards and scientific advisory boards. She received a B.A. from Syracuse University and an M.S.W. from the Catholic University of America.
