Avisen Securities, Inc. announced today the launch of "Art at the Office" Project, designed to re-envision the office environment into an art gallery by showcasing the Sacramento region's talented local artists.
An event will launch the current exhibit on February 28th 5:00-8:00pm at 3620 American River Drive, Suite 145, Sacramento, and will spotlight local artist, Margaret Sarantis. This is a free event open to the public.
The Project is a rotating exhibition program designed to raise the visibility of artists in the Sacramento region. Artists showcase their work on the office walls of the investment firm's Sacramento office. The artwork will rotate every 3-6 months. An event will kick-off each new artist and the public is encouraged to attend.
The Project hopes to turn office visitors into art buyers by showcasing the work of local artists. According to project creator and the firm's Marketing Director, Michelle Kessel-Harbart,"We have amazing artists in Sacramento and their work deserves to be seen. This Project should be a model for the business community as a way of giving back to artists that inspire creativity and innovation, which is something we all strive for in business. Whatever your taste - traditional, edgy, contemporary, or mainstream - there's going to be a local artist that captures your heart."
All proceeds for any art sold goes directly to the artist. Avisen Securities does not accept any compensation or charge any fees to the artist.
"Art at the Office" exhibitions can be viewed Monday-Friday 9:00am-3:00pm or by appointment to arrange a visit.
Artists that wish to participate in the Project may complete an Artist Application available on the company's website.

About Margaret Sarantis
Margaret Sarantis is a Sacramento artist and creative arts instructor. Her creations reflect her view of what she sees both in real life and in the dream world. While originally a watercolor purist, Sarantis also enjoys working with acrylics and mixed media to create paintings of the feminine archetype and all things fantasy. Margaret has shown her art at Kennedy Gallery, Kristel Durand Studio, Phoenix Gallery, Danielle's Creperie, University Art, The Body Mind Center, Arden Hills Country Club, Del Paso Country Club and in private shows and offices in Sacramento.
