Rapid Recovery, the only nationwide refrigerant abatement company is excited to announce the expansion of its Connecticut Territory into Rhode Island. This opening marks another strategic expansion for Rapid Recovery as it brings its premiere services further into the New England and Tri-State area.
This marks the 35th location for the nation’s largest provider of refrigerant recovery services. With locations from coast to coast and work experience in over 46 states, Rapid Recovery continues to expand to meet the need for EPA compliant refrigerant recovery. Their use of AHRI certified gas powered recovery equipment gives Rapid Recovery a distinct speed advantage over a contractor’s standard electric equipment and is a key factor as to why it is rapidly expanding to meet this demand throughout the United States.
Founded in 2002 and celebrating their 10 year anniversary, the industry leader has revolutionized recovering refrigerants in the U.S. "Providing Industry leading EPA documentation and superior service are just two of the things that set Rapid Recovery apart", said Adam Dykstra, President of Rapid Recovery. Another unique aspect is the company’s franchise model, which Dykstra explains is "quality local ownership that provides a great partnership for local contractors". The opening of Rhode Island marks another extension of Rapid Recovery’s nationwide service platform.
Dykstra said “We are a genuine service company to HVAC, Mechanical and Demolition contractors as well as in-house facilities departments, crane companies and government agencies. As the burdensome cost of technicians’ time, cylinder acquisition, equipment, maintenance; and expensive, yet inadequate off-the-shelf recovery equipment are realized, Rapid Recovery is in prime position for continued growth. Contractors are realizing that sourcing the refrigerant recovery process to an expert can add profitability to their jobs, free up important technician time and meet all of their EPA documentation needs as well.”
Rapid Recovery’s Connecticut (203-859-8559) and Rhode Island (401-400-0570) operations are owned and operated by John Haynes. He places “Total Customer Satisfaction” as the reason of their success. “I know what contractors have done in the past that I didn’t like and ensure my customers are treated as I like to be treated. Being on time, open communication, commitment to professional work and fair pricing are the corner stones of our foundation”, said Haynes.
Since opening in 2011, the response has been so overwhelmingly positive in Connecticut. “It was a simple decision to expand into Rhode Island. We are being called for jobs from Long Island and NYC all the way through to Boston, New Hampshire and Maine. With recovery rates at 1200+ lbs / hr liquid and up to 500 lbs / hr vapor, we are able to complete jobs in hours instead of the days it takes others to complete. This keeps our costs down which allows for better pricing to my customers. We give fixed project bids and time schedules for the recoveries, so customers can budget and set project plans around the recovery process. We have 300 feet of hose on all our trucks, so we recover from rooftop units into our cylinders positioned on the ground. Additionally, we assume their EPA liability for every pound of refrigerant we recover, buy the refrigerants and you see why we are expanding so quickly”, said Haynes.
When asked if he feels Rapid Recovery has a competitive advantage, John Haynes said,“Absolutely! Get us on a job-site and our process (equipment, tools and personnel) really impress even the most experienced of HVAC, Refrigeration and Demolition professionals. Once a contractor uses us on a recovery, they understand the positive impacts that outsourcing refrigerant recovery should have.” He added that,“All I ask is to give us a try. We provide two main services: 1. “At-your-shop” cylinder service and 2. Job-site recovery on anything from simple A/C systems up to chillers with tens of thousands of pounds. Coming in the first quarter 2013 we are starting a Reclaim and Return Service that will dramatically reduce the cost of purchasing R-22 for our customers.”
“If we can’t save or make your company time and money, you shouldn’t use us”, said Haynes.
