“Shareconomy” is this year's keynote theme at CeBIT 2013. The No. 1 IT trade show for the digital world is focusing this year on the sharing of knowledge, resources and experience as new forms of collaboration. In hall 5 stand C18, abas software partners from all over the world will demonstrate how abas supports the philosophy behind “Shareconomy”, from March 5th-9th, 2013, in Hannover, Germany.
One of many abas highlights will be the new web client prototype, which combines a modern look and feel with a revolutionary operating concept to improve the user experience. abas mobile solutions, such as Mobile Sales, Mobile Service and Mobile Purchase enable off-site access to abas using tablets, smartphones and other mobile devices. Further solutions can be integrated through abas Business Apps to create customized workstations.
Role-based operation with abas Business Apps
ERP users have unique requirements for information, operations or systems. abas Business Apps, which are integrated in the abas GUI, collect, analyze and display information from a wide array of internal and external sources in a role-based overview.
ERP access with smartphones and tablets
Mobile applications in the standard release allow uninterrupted, platform-independent access to relevant company data using smartphones or tablets. Assignment preparation is available using a mobile device, with access to customer data, service products, BOMs, service history, regular servicing schedules, and material planning. Completed assignments can be reported remotely, including an electronic signature.
Presentation of the new abas web client prototyp
The new abas web client prototype will be presented at CeBIT 2013. With the new web client, incorporating business partners, consultants, vendors or customers in both internal and external processes will be easier than ever before.

The APS system in abas Business Suite offers comprehensive visualization, analysis and optimization tools that can display data in a variety of views for customer sales orders, purchase orders, production proposals, work orders or contract manufacturing.

The abas full text search supports targeted data searches. The feature includes predefined search templates with corresponding formats to display the results.
New automotive Packaging planning function
Cartons and boxes vary in size, making it challenging to put together palettes that are efficient and stable. The new Packaging planning feature provides an overview of the products and boxes to be delivered to ensure optimal allocation.
