Working on a very tight schedule, Conference Services at Energetics planned and executed the event, which brought together key CERC leaders and partners from both the United States and China to review achievements and plan next steps. U.S. Secretary of Energy Steven Chu, China’s Minister of Science and Technology Wan Gang, industry partners, and observers reviewed CERC’s implementation and funding status as well as the achievements of its three research consortia. The meeting also included a business roundtable for CERC partners and concluded with a Minister-led discussion on the future of CERC.

For several years, the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) has relied on Conference Services at Energetics to organize large international meetings that enable participating governments to discuss issues in climate policy, climate strategy, and clean energy deployment.
