Brembo has just dropped their new Club Racing Big Brake Kits. Whether it is OEM replacement rotors, two-piece floating rotors, or their 4 piston and 6 piston brake kits, Brembo offers high quality stopping performance. Vivid Racing has partnered with Brembo on several of their past Project Car builds. They have used Brembo on their Porsche 996 Turbo, Porsche 997 Turbo, Mercedes CLS63, and the BMW E90 M3. These new Club Racing Big Brake Kits are available for cars that are familiar to motorsports, such as the BMW M3, the Dodge Viper, the Ford Mustang, the Subaru Impreza STI and BRZ, the Mitsubishi Lancer EVO VIII/IX, and the Scion FRS.
The design of the new “race-ready” brake kits also meets or beats the requirements of numerous sanctioning bodies including SCCA, NASA, Grand-Am, BMWCCA and PCA, among others.
The kits include: new cast racing caliper with hard-anodized finish to improve resistance to thermal and mechanical stresses typical in the racing world (during the design stage, particular attention was paid to obtaining the best ratio of stiffness and weight reduction using special machining techniques), Brembo thermo tape on the caliper, Type III groove assembled floating discs (from 332 to 355mm) with high thermal capacity and heat dissipation, caliper brackets, and.steel braided brake lines.
