Yogi Tunes, the leading online yoga music service, today announced the launch of it’s new product offering. Yogi Tunes’ primary focus will be providing a curated music subscription program to a worldwide audience.
The subscription plan, featuring downloadable yoga playlists mixed by top DJ’s and live in-class recordings, is the first of its kind for the global yoga community. Yogi Tunes has brokered ground breaking deals with select independent record labels and artists, allowing the company to offer their international audience unprecedented access to an extensive catalog of music hand-picked for the yoga lifestyle.
Yogi Tunes has collaborated with some of the top DJ’s in the world to create beautifully crafted DJ Mixed Playlists for the Yogi Tunes community. Current contributing DJ’s include Derek Beres (Earthrise Soundsystem), Craig Kohland (Shaman’s Dream), Rara Avis (Shaman’s Dream/Desert Dwellers), Amani Friend (Desert Dwellers), Alia, Fabian Alsultany (GlobeSonic), Andrew Ross Collins (Interchill Records) and Solus. The music catalog, which will continue to grow and expand, includes Interchill Records, White Swan & Black Swan Music, Desert Dwellers, Shaman’s Dream, Rara Avis, and Liquid Bloom. New DJ’s, artists and record labels will be continually added as time goes on.

Rara (raraavismusic.com) is a dedicated master of his craft with over 20 years experience in live performance and music production with a core focus on where the electronic underground, yoga and dance movements collide. For almost 10 years he has been one-third of the ground breaking trio known as Desert Dwellers. One of the most pioneering and prolific downtempo groups hailing from the United States. With his Desert Dwellers partner Amani Friend, and Shaman’s Dream founder Craig Kohalnd, Rara has also co-written music for yoga teachers such as Shiva Rea, Duncan Wong, Janet Stone, Elena Brower, Hemalayaa Behl, Desiree Rumbaugh, Micheline Berry, + many more.
