ATM S.A., the owner of ATMAN network and Poland's largest data center operator, has recently entered into the partnership agreement with Akamai Technologies Inc. to efficiently deliver Internet resources based on ATMAN infrastructure and Akamai’s industry leading content delivery platform.

ATM operates the Thinx Internet Exchange in the largest carrier-neutral data center in Poland which connects to a network of 14 access nodes for exchanging traffic with other networks and Internet content providers.

The combination of ATM’s carrier and data center services with one of the world’s largest content delivery platforms owned by Akamai has significant results for all Internet users.

Deploying an Akamai cluster in one of ATM’s data centers improves the quality of experience for end users by accelerating download speeds. Requests for 'Akamaized' content, such as the most popular business software updates which were previously served from European links can be downloaded locally now.
Partnering with Akamai allows ATM to reduce the costs of transferring content from outside Poland without additional infrastructure buildout. With the nation-wide fiber network and over 8,300 sq m of colocation space ATM presently serves more than 70 carriers (including the Tier 1 operators) seeking the carrier-neutral colocation in CEE.
