“RAI” Reckless Armed Individual (s) on school grounds by Byron McCray discusses techniques on how to protect Administrative staff, teachers and students from violent criminals who enter schools to do physical harm to anyone that crosses their path. McCray develops ideas to provide expert advice on prevention and how to enhance your current school action plan.
“RAI” provides specific steps in understanding how to develop a personalized security plan. McCray says the first two goals are to prevent RAI’s from trespassing on school grounds, followed by how to safeguard life as quickly as possible before staff and students are seriously harmed.
With an extensive career background in Criminal Justice, Anger Management, School Safety, Criminal Investigations, Private Security and working alongside the Federal Government, Law Enforcement Agencies, McCray discusses risk management and safety patterns that should be adhered to on a national level. He highlights various security techniques and issues you may encounter when trying to enforce new polices. He suggests a variety of ideas to help prevent loss of life if you encounter an RAI.
“My handbook will help save lives and help prevent easy access onto school property”, McCray says. “It will give administrators ideas on how to implement new safety policies, and to push for a larger budget for security staff through their congressional representatives and state legislators.” Much like our nation’s,“War on Terrorism”, he suggests a “War on RAI’s”.
McCray hopes school boards will pass his handbook along to administrators and teachers to start a Crisis Action Team (CAP) to implement RAI tools in our school systems across the country. He believes that by raising awareness to his techniques it will help preserve life and prevent RAI’s from easily trespassing on school grounds.
“RAI” handbooks will be available FREE online at safetyprograms.info starting February 1st, 2013 and can be sent to you by requesting an advanced copy via email.
