Tokyo, Japan, 2013/01/09 - The Japanese company MSY today introduced The Surface Series, a collection of extremely thin skins for smart phones including the iPhone 5 and the brand new SONY Xperia Z, announced at the 2013 International CES - MSYgroup.com.

Available in 3 different materials, wood, leather and vulcanized fiber, The Surface is the thinnest smart phone skin currently available on the market. The wood version is the world’s thinnest wood skin with only 0.07mm and is cut using a “variable cut technique, an extremely precise cutting process that provides the best shape and preserves the wood’s quality. The wood collection currently includes Walnut, Teak and Cedar Tree phone protectors. The leather version is made using an 800 year-old traditional leather tanning technique from the Hyogo prefecture in Japan and comes in Orange, Green and Black. And the Vulcanized fiber made from carefully selected wood fiber, transformed into a strong material, resistant to abrasion and impacts and with electric insulation. The series includes both front and back protectors as well as a fingerproof, bubble-free and re-applicable screen protector.
MSY, located in CES booth 6729 (North Hall), will display The Surface collection on both iPhone 5 and Xperia Z and the only booth at CES to possess the brand new SONY phone and skin cover. The numerous exclusive items from the GRAPHT and COLORS brands are also available for viewers to discover.
