Vivid Racing customer, Stuart Moulton, brought in his BMW 3301 E46 Touring Wagon, a rarity for a high performance car, several years ago for some serious upgrades. So much so that BMW Performance Magazine has now showcased his car’s improvements in the February 2013 issue. He worked with Vivid’s Performance Specialist Greg Schultz, and the result was a variety of high performance, high quality parts. Some of these include a set of BBS wheels. The front features a set of BBS LM in 19×10.0, 5×120 bolt pattern, and a +20mm offset. The rears are a set of BBS LM in 19×11.0, 5×120, +25mm offset. Both wheels are finished in silver.
Behind the wheels is a set of StopTech Trophy Big Brakes. The StopTech Trophy Brakes are the full race, big brake upgrade that StopTech supplies. The front kit is a 355mm 2piece rotor with a 6piston caliper, and the rear is also a 355mm 2piece rotor but in a 4piston caliper. Even more unique is the inside of the car that sports a set of Recaro Sportster CS black leather seats that retain a heated seat option. Other features of these Recaro seats are strongly contoured shoulder support, integrated fully upholstered headrest, firmly upholstered side bolsters, and molded plastic back panel with seat back release. The seats are mounted perfectly to the car with a set of Wedge Engineering seat brackets. Leather on the steering wheel is perforated and stitched in a tricolor. Also offered is carbon fiber trim, including dash panels and door trim. Vivid Racing has set the pace again, contributing to a ride that is worthy of showing to the world.
