Dowley Security Systems, Inc., a leading provider of turnkey electronic security and technology integration solutions, announced today they have been awarded this year’s Security Innovation gold medal award by Security Technology Executive magazine. Dowley is recognized for designing a custom integrated security application while preserving the aesthetics of the architecture surrounding the Devon Energy Tower in Oklahoma City.

The Devon project combined 12 different security-related technologies, working together in a single, integrated system for security command and control of all the company’s facilities across North America. Collaborating with vendor partners such as AMAG Technology, AXIS Communications, BOSCH Security Systems and CSC, Dowley's turnkey security technology solutions incorporated the installation of perimeter security, access control systems, networked surveillance systems, and flexible information technology.

The STE Innovation Awards honors the best and brightest in innovative uses of security technology, and recognizes the lead vendor, integrator and the end user, and honors gold, silver, and bronze award winners. Each project was judged by a panel of security industry experts that included well-established consultants and members of the industry press.
