Titled “Accelerate Business Performance with SAP HANA®,” the 45-minute webinar is slated for broadcast on Wednesday, December 12, at 11 am. Eastern Standard Time/5 pm. Central European Time/4 pm. Greenwich Mean Time. Audience members will learn how to analyze massive amounts of data in an instant, achieve real-time operational efficiency, and fundamentally change the way business is done.
The expert panel includes Ron Grabyan, manager of Business Intelligence Services for Southern California Edison (SCE), who will cover how one of the largest electric utility organizations in the U.S. has incorporated a strategy including the SAP HANA platform into its business intelligence journey. Audience members will hear him outline the challenges that led to in-memory adoption and how SCE is using SAP HANA today.
Joining Grabyan is Ruediger Haag, Ciber Practice Leader for SAP business intelligence and SAP HANA technologies. He will highlight ways a company can harness the potential of SAP HANA to deliver business improvements. With global delivery centers, teams highly knowledgeable in SAP HANA and pre-built proof-of-concept/demonstration environments, Haag will explain how Ciber is working with clients to confidently evaluate, implement and manage deployments of SAP HANA.
Rounding out the panel is Tag Robertson, manager, SAP Solutions Offering, IBM, who will explain how IBM’s appliance for SAP HANA allows huge quantities of real-time transactional data to be processed in the main memory of a server. In addition, Tag’s presentation will focus on IBM’s differentiator in high performance computing: the ability to deliver built-in scalability and high availability into the optimized system running SAP HANA.
