Jewelry by Liza Shtromberg, a premiere jewelry business dedicated to original design with one-of-a-kind pieces which double as wearable art, has announced their trunk show at Bloomingdale's Sherman Oaks Fashion Square in Sherman Oaks, CA from 10am – 6pm November 30th and December 1st.
Meet the designer, Liza, and preview her one-of-a-kind handcrafted jewelry collections "Petra,""Cocktail," and "Delight," collections created with Sterling Silver and a variety of semi-precious stones. Also on display is the beautiful “Western Wall” Jewelry Collection whose pieces are imprinted with the texture of the western wall and engraved with meaningful Hebrew quotes.

An internationalist, Liza was born in Russia and immigrated with her family to Los Angeles from a small port town in Israel. As daughter to an accomplished stone-cutter and cameo designer, Liza found early inspiration from the stones her father brought home. She began experimenting with jewelry design as a form of self expression, creating wax molds for fine jewelry casings as a young adult. Later, she did simple wire-work, stringing native Indian peyote beads and crystals and selling her designs on the streets of Los Angeles. But even then, as a culture-curious kid in the ‘80s, she was drawn to raw materials. “I’ve always loved cultural jewelry – African jewelry, East Indian jewelry, I love to work with my hands.”
At the age of 16, Liza began her own company, Jewelry by Liza Shtromberg, and in 2000 she opened her first retail location in Los Feliz which she currently sells from today. Her designs can be seen on actress/singer Blake Lively, Julia Roberts, and Sandra Bullock and have been featured in several publications including In Style, US Weekly, and Lucky magazines.
