From 6th to 8th November Hexagon Metrology Nordic presented its measuring solutions to over 50 guests at Lowener in Skanderborg. Lowener is Hexagon Metrology’s distribution partner on the Danish market. Attendees – among them customers from the wind energy sector such as Vestas and Siemens – had the opportunity to learn more about the broad portfolio of the metrology company and get in touch with the experts. Portable measuring arms, laser trackers, 3D coordinate measuring machines and vision machines were on display.
Several presentations as well as practical sessions were part of the agenda. Hexagon Metrology and Lowener showed how their technology helps the Danish industry to solve challenges in quality control. This was also illustrated with real-life workpieces, for example a large wind turbine part which was measured on site with the help of portable measuring systems.
Special attention was paid on the return on investment of metrology equipment used for production-based measurements.
