SAManage the leader in cloud-based, integrated IT Service Desk and IT Asset Management software, in partnership with OneLogin, a cloud-based Identity and Access Management (IAM) provider, recently introduced LDAP/Active Directory integration with SAManage’s cloud-based offering. This combination of technologies significantly enhances the end-user experience when requesting IT service and interacting with support personnel. Importantly for users of OneLogin is that a Single Sign-On (SSO) foundation is laid down for all cloud/SaaS based solutions across the enterprise.

SAManage users can now use OneLogin to:
• Synchronize their users from the AD / LDAP into SAManage.
• Enable SSO through OneLogin for the purpose of accessing the SAManage self-service portal.
• Allow administrators to associate assets with users and track assignment / ownership of assets.
• Easily migrate from legacy on-premise service desk products to SAManage, and to bulk-load the user list from AD/LDAP into SAManage.
The integration is available for free for SAManage customers via OneLogin. “We recognize the future rests in the cloud. People are being inundated with the number of passwords they have to remember. SAManage users can deploy OneLogin in their environment and use OneLogin to retrieve the users’ lists from AD/LDAP. OneLogin will create user accounts in SAManage via the SAManage SAML integration and deliver SSO capabilities to SAManage. Users can then sign into the SAManage self-service portal with their existing credentials.
