NewswireTODAY - /newswire/ - São Paulo, Brazil, 2012/10/24 - According to APT Partners Chief Executive Officer Mr Matthew Rose, the company is to be restructured under the supervision of new managing director Dr William Becker, who intends to divide the company into three departments.

Dr William Becker, who has been with APT Partners in a permanent consulting role for the last four years, and was named last week as the company's new managing director; has been given permission by the board of directors to restructure the company. Despite Dr Beckers' initial feeling on limiting rapid change, he states “Due to the number of contracts we have in the pipeline, APT Partners will now grow very quickly indeed. It is important that we are well prepared to deal with the increasing scale of our daily challenges.”

The company itself is currently based in the centre of the the capital, where it has been agreed the principal office will remain to manage investor relations solutions for mid-cap and blue chip client companies. The soon to open office which is also planned to be in city centre, will focus upon small cap client companies, and initial public offerings.

Dr Becker went on to say that that the needs of the two client groups are usually drastically different, and that dividing the APT Partners team in two, should mean that the company is able to provide a more specialised service; essentially avoiding becoming an impersonal corporate entity and risking losing clients.

Aside from this corporate restructuring, the company also recently released news announcing its intent to launch a private equity fund over the next 12 months. Dr Becker however declined to comment in detail on this issue, saying that until an appropriate fund manager has been selected the project is on hold. “The fund manager we choose for this new project will need to be included in the decision making process from the very beginning.”
