Korenix has launched Bluetooth transferring function in its JetBox 3300-w/3350i-w series Embedded Linux computers, which will be used for communicating data between machine and machine perfectly. With this new addition, JetBox 3300 series can be used for data collection and exchange in installations where physical wiring is unavailable or impractical to deploy, but which highly demands data integration.
In factory automation control applications, the compact JetBox 3300-w/3350i-w can be applied for terminal device monitoring in PLCs or access control systems. With the help of Bluetooth and Ethernet technology, all the collected information or alert notifications in the front-end side will be sent to the local database, control room or HMI using a Bluetooth device. All of these data can then be transferred layer by layer through other devices. Therefore, remote network monitoring would no longer be a difficult mission.
Korenix JetBox 3300 series (korenix.com / korenixembedded.com) are Linux-based computers, with a rich interface, including Ethernet, Serial / Isolated Serial, DIO, USB ports, and are used in small-sized front-end control applications to communicate data from various field-site devices. The RISC based computers with low power consumption and rugged design that withstands under -40~80oC temperature extremes, are designed to provide advanced network performance in severe industrial deployments.
