Its members include technical writers and editors, content developers, documentation specialists, instructional designers, academics, and anyone whose work makes technical information available to those who need it.
Anupama was elected at the Annual Business Meeting of the India chapter held recently at Bangalore on the sidelines of its 8th Annual Conference. Anupama is a Documentation Manager at Pivotal Corporation, Bangalore. She has been associated with STC India since its inception in 1999.
The other office bearers elected at the meeting include Michelle Cherian as Vice President, Vasanth Vaidyanathan as Secretary, and Manju Shrestha as Treasurer. Gururaj B S is the Immediate Past President of the chapter.
STC (stc.org) is an individual membership organisation dedicated to advancing the arts and sciences of technical communication. It is the largest organization of its type in the world.
