Coldwell Banker Real Estate was recently recognized with multiple industry awards for its learning platform, Coldwell Banker University, which combines innovative learning practices and a unique ability to measure the positive impact of its courses and training programs.
Coldwell Banker Real Estate received two silver designations from the Brandon Hall Excellence in Learning Awards for individual categories of Best Learning Measurement Approach and Best Use of Social and Collaborative Learning. Furthermore, David Birnbaum, vice president of learning for Coldwell Banker Real Estate LLC, was presented with the gold honor for the CLO Business Impact Award category at the Chief Learning Officer magazine’s Learning in Practice Awards.
Coldwell Banker University provides two unique online social learning portals for managers and sales associates. Each includes videos, instructor-generated blogs and learning programs that also incorporate user-generated comments.
“Our professional development programs have always been a core component of our value proposition and the success of our agents,” said Budge Huskey, president and COO of Coldwell Banker Real Estate LLC. “We continually reinvest in our learning initiatives and training programs to provide Coldwell Banker real estate professionals with valuable resources so that they can continue to help their clients make educated decisions. We are honored to be recognized for these notable merits and distinctions, and want to especially congratulate David Birnbaum for his ongoing efforts to keep our team on the cusp of the latest learning practices.”
Birnbaum was honored for creating a comprehensive approach to learning metrics that helps measure the effectiveness of Coldwell Banker University courses. He was honored along with learning executives from such noted companies as Hewlett Packard, Mars Inc., Techtronic Industries and Fifth Third Bancorp. The CLO Learning in Practice Awards, now in its ninth year, recognizes industry leaders who have demonstrated excellence in the design and delivery of employee development programs.
Earlier this year, Chief Learning Magazine ranked Coldwell Banker Real Estate as one of the top 20 companies recognized as learning and development leaders. Coldwell Banker Real Estate was the only real estate brand recognized, among other industry leaders, such as General Mills, AT&T and McDonald’s Corp.
“We deliver a comprehensive approach to learning. Our guiding philosophy is centered on measuring key performance indicators that allow us to continually help increase productivity, recruitment and the value of our brand,” Birnbaum said.
