VerticalResponse, a leading provider of self-service marketing solutions for small businesses and non-profits including email marketing, social media marketing, event marketing, postcard marketing and online surveys, was awarded a silver W3 Award by the International Academy of the Visual Arts (IAVA). The company also won three standard of excellence WebAwards from the Web Marketing Association.
The silver W3 Award for creative excellence in the general website/public relations category was conferred to VerticalResponse for its Next Teen Tycoon video contest microsite. The microsite served as ground zero for a VerticalResponse contest held earlier this year that discovered and rewarded promising teen entrepreneurs around the nation.
The W3 Awards honor outstanding websites, Web marketing, Web video and mobile apps created by some of the best interactive agencies, designers and creators worldwide. This year, the awards program received more than 3,000 entries.
The VerticalResponse website received standard of excellence WebAwards in three categories: application service provider, B2B and email. The website aims to make it easy for small businesses and non-profits to see the benefits of self-service marketing, and also provides tons of educational resources to help small businesses grow.
The annual WebAwards, now in its 16th year, names the best websites in 96 industries. More than 2,000 entries from 42 countries were considered during this year’s competition, and were judged on design, copywriting, innovation, content, interactivity, navigation and use of technology.
