When asked “Why A YouTube Show?” Lynam replied,“the base age demographic for YouTube is 18-54. That skews much higher than most of us probably realize. This age group is spending more time on YouTube and less time watching traditional or cable television”. She further explained,“YouTube is an outstanding way to showcase and highlight all that is unique in Greenville, SC and we are excited to share our channel with the world!”
Lynam is particularly excited about the potential that a GOGreenville Show appearance can provide for local businesses. “We are fully optimizing the videos for local search and social media reach. We are also continually driving traffic to our channel to increase the views. It’s like a billboard that never goes away”. The videos gain more views over time and appear in Google searches for keywords relating to a particular business. The episodes will be produced for a YouTube audience that demands entertainment.
