The event will be a private and intimate gathering where guests can comfortably view Octavio Carlin's new space, as well as his exclusive RTW & Bridal collection. "We want to keep the event small. That way everyone can mingle and really appreciate the store and the clothes." says Carlin. Guests will be able to shop and network with each other, providing a valuable space for fashion and industry connectivity.
Octavio Carlin (octaviocarlin.com) is very excited to showcase his collection. In fact, he hired models to wear his pieces throughout the night, ensuring that guests can experience the full effect of the clothes. The designer hopes that everyone will sense the elegance, modernity, and sophistication of his establishment and line.
Octavio Carlin first started designing in 1998. In 2006, he launched his eponymous line, Octavio Carlin, and opened a boutique and design studio in Los Feliz, where he developed a loyal clientele, consisting of Paris Hilton, Sharon Stone, and Roselyn Sanchez, for whom he custom-designed evening and bridal pieces. Inspired by the Golden Age of Hollywood, his original high-end designs naturally evoke a sense of glamour, elegance, and edginess but with a modern take. The new Octavio Carlin RTW mimics this same feel, delivering a more commercial version of his fashion-forward styles, without sacrificing quality. The RTW collection is comprised of dresses, tops, and bottoms, which start at $100. The RTW line, as well as the couture evening and bridal collection, will be available for purchase during the event.
Sponsors: Yummy Baked, Status Vodka, Snapette, Orange Berlin, Gleam by Melanie Mills, The LA Fashion, and Agenda Magazine.
The Grand Opening Celebration is a private gathering. If you'd like to attend, email Mary Vallarta for details.
