GameLab, the creator of Lock’n’Load and Last Temple, is about to release new game - Pocket Trucks, a physics-based game for mobile devices: iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPad 2 and the new iPad. This upcoming release will be available on the App Store beginning Wednesday, the 5th of September. It is being published by Ganymede.
In a cartoon world...
GameLab announces Pocket Trucks -- an awesome physics-based racing game, featuring 38 custom tracks in 15 different themes. The app is rendered in beautiful 3D and supports the Retina display, so every detail of the game is extremely sharp and well-defined. The action takes place in a cartoon world, and has a “hand made” feel. “There is lot of space for every kind of player on the roads of Pocket Trucks. Everyone can master their vehicles and fly through levels as fast as they can. There's something in this game for everyone, from platform-based gameplay, racing for prize cups, and picking up powerups to dash your way to the finish line!” – says Paul Weder, GameLab CEO.
From trucks to ancient catapult
The application includes a few varieties gameplay: Racing, Time Trials, Collecting Items, Performing Tricks, and Bomb Escort. The player strives to win medals as well as collects items, stars, and vehicle upgrades, all while enjoying a retro-style soundtrack. The player can customize and upgrade 8 different vehicles, from the Buggy to the Ancient Catapult. The main goal is to beat the clock and compete on the leaderboards.
