PSYL is the creative genius of designer and founder, fashionable socialite Crystal Milton. The brand was founded in 2011 when Crystal accidently broke her own vintage fresh water pearl necklace and had a “Ah Ha” moment to create her own necklace focusing on the beauty of the flaws that fresh water pearls represent. Ms. Milton has stated” My entire brand at PSYL represents and reminds us that no matter what makes you different, no matter what flaws you have, you are absolutely, positively lovely”.
Koby and Kylie Co. is the quintessential stationery and invitations boutique. Named after two adorable pooches Koby and Kylie, this modern-day “message in bottle” designer and owner Karee Laing, knows how to mix the essence of a handwritten note with the modern tools of technology and a touch of color. Known for weaving breathtaking custom stationery for paper aficionados over the country, the entire collection is sure to make you to fall in love with paper again. When asked about her inspiration for designing, Karee states,“There's nothing quiet about stationery that is inspired by the larger-than- life fonts used in 1950s fashion magazines. It’s the ability to make paper come alive by using so much of the past with the present.”
This fall, on September 19, 2012 the brands of P.S. You’re Lovely and Koby and Kylie Co. will host a handcrafted soiree appropriately named,“Paper and Pearls” at Coquette Boutique Houston located in the uber-eclectic Montrose area. The event will provide attendees with a first-hand look into each brands’ true talent while perusing the lovely finds at Coquette Boutique. Signature cocktails along with delectable sweet treats will be on hand to make this the summer event you can’t miss.
