About Optimos
Optimo is a set of components that exchange forms, to create various cinematic options. OptimoSlider can be assembled, and connected in versatile ways, and is designed for Dslr and Broadcast camera users. Using CNC engineered, high quality material, air craft aluminum, and black anodized, the Optimos is Strong, versatile, Solid, and at the same time lightweight. It is also very portable, compact, reliable, and best of all, at an affordable price.
Phase One, Is the foundation of the Optimos System. It can be easily transformed into 5 different modes, in seconds. The kit is expandable to: Low angle mode, Scorpi-one mode, Riffle shooter, Slider, table dolly, and Ph-one stabilizer. This phase gives users the ability to shoot various film angles, and get the motion look for their dynamic projects, right out of the box!
Optimos is not just a simple slider! The kit system comes with tracks, and solid bases suitable to hold from 30 pounds up to 200 pounds. The same solid bases become the riffle shooter, so you can have 2 shooters. The bases can also be used for the Scorpi-One stabilizer mode.
A good example of the Optimo’s versatility is having one shooter in riffle shooter mode, while your second shooter is using the scorpi-one mode, and you would still have the ability to use the table dolly at the same time. Another combination could be using the Low mode (doggie cam) while using table dolly at the same time, to get a different camera angle. These combinations are what make the OptimoSlider PRICELESS.
A motor control will be available for stop motion as well in the near future.
In Phase Two, (which is already in development) you will be able to take the foundation of the OptimoSlider to the next level, with 4 additional features: Longer tracks for the slider (6 feet long), Camera Cage, 6 ft Jib, and Largos monopod.
