BlueStar recently attended the Retail Solutions Providers Association (RSPA) RetailNOW conference in Las Vegas, Nevada. In addition to hosting their annual dealer reception, BlueStar also sponsored the RetailNOW Pre-Awards Dinner Reception and gave away $30,000 in FUSION marketing and business development services.
BlueStar presented a wide array of advanced point-of-sale and retail technology solutions, including integrated security and digital signage for POS. “Retail and POS solutions are a huge part of our business at BlueStar,” explained Dean Reverman, BlueStar’s Global Marketing Manager. “We look forward to participating in RetailNOW every year and we’re proud to be members of RSPA, the premiere trade organization for POS technology. Kheelan Business Technologies received $5,000; Biztracker won $10,000; and Lonestar POS won the grand FUSION prize of $15,000. “FUSION is designed to wrap around and enhance our VAR partners marketing and business development programs,” explained Jason Firment, BlueStar’s FUSION and POS Director. “Our team can design, launch and efficiently manage campaigns for our partners to help improve the amount and quality of touches made to their potential customer base.”
In addition, BlueStar President/CEO Steve Cuntz won the Industry Rock Star of the Year Award as part of a fundraising effort for RSPA’s Retail Orphan Initiative, a program that works to bring educational technologies to needy youth across the globe. Cuntz and other industry leaders raised more than $2000 in the RSPA Jam Band at the RetailNOW Welcome Reception. Earlier this year, BlueStar teamed with RetailROI to bring printing and mobile technology solutions to three schools in the Dominican Republic.
