Dowley Security Systems, Inc., the leading provider of turnkey technology integration and electronic security systems, announced today that it recently has been awarded the security systems services contract by The Cooperative Purchasing Network (TCPN). The agreement enables Texas and Oklahoma governmental and non-profit entities to purchase security systems services on an “as needed” basis from a competitively awarded contract.
TCPN is a national governmental agency that contracts on behalf of K-12 schools, local governments, colleges, universities, and non-profit organizations in all 50 states. The new agreement with Dowley enables participants to purchase customized, state-of-the-art security systems services at a fixed price, or a discounted price from a manufacturer’s price list or catalog, or a combination of both.
The Dowley agreement includes an array of security systems services and solutions including video surveillance and management, digital video analyses, access control, biometrics, facial recognition and credentialing, intrusion detection, networks, infrastructure cabling, fiber optics, wireless networks, command center build-outs, perimeter security lighting, fencing, barriers, and gates. Driven by innovative designs and by leveraging technology, Dowley is able to deliver resilience, preparedness and continuity to their customers by providing world-class security hardening of critical infrastructure assets.
TCPN competitively bids and awards contracts to national vendors in accordance with purchasing procedures mandated by state procurement laws and regulations. TCPN contracts are available for use and benefit all entities that must comply with state purchasing laws (public and private schools, colleges and universities, cities, counties, non-profits, and all governmental entities). This cooperative was established under state law to help other governmental entities operate efficiently and economically.
“Dowley looks upon TCPN as an effective value-added procurement vehicle through which our quality solutions can be deployed to our public sector and non-profit clients in a streamlined and efficient manner while insuring that every dollar used reflects our commitment to the best possible pricing. We are honored to have received this award from TCPN, a trusted organization we believe is the best purchasing cooperative in the nation,” said Jim Brown, Chief Executive Officer of Dowley Security Systems.
“Public agencies have a responsibility to provide their respective communities with the highest levels of security for their electronic infrastructure. TCPN is pleased to have partnered with a leader in electronic security, Dowley Security Systems,” said Chris Penny, Vice President of Sales for TCPN.
