Innisfil, Ontario, Canada, 2012/07/06 - Arcline (2000) Inc. received certification to supply North American Trucking companies with the ACI e-Manifest submissions by fully integrating their ArcFleet™ Trucking Software product with the CBSA ACI e-Manifest portal.
Beginning November 1, 2012, e-Manifest will require that carriers, forwarders, and importers electronically submit cargo and shipment data directly to the CBSA prior to their arrival at any highway border crossing.
Arcline (2000) Inc. software developers have been working closely with Crimson Logic to develop a platform that would provide a smooth and seamless transition to ACI e-Manifest for all customers. This time-saving and user friendly integration provides the ability to submit e-Manifests directly from within the ArcFleet™ Trucking Dispatch Software, eliminating the need to manually submit entries. Shipment notification responses from CBSA are imported directly into ArcFleet™ in real time.
“Arcline (2000) has once again proven their commitment to their clients by improving their software to include the new ACI e-manifest program. With the addition of only a few more steps we are now able to enter information for shipments heading into Canada and send the required information to CBSA, keeping our overhead low to maintain our competitive edge in the industry. Thank you to all the staff at Arcline (2000) for their endless effort, help and support in making the transition to ACI a smooth one. Once again all expectations have been surpassed!” Stacey Kothe, Safety & Compliance, Westayr Transportation Systems, Inc.
“Highway carriers were looking to streamline their cross-border movements into Canada and use a single electronic process for both southbound and northbound shipments. Moving away from paper and reporting manifests electronically gives the carrier added efficiencies of crossing the border. Now before the highway carrier arrives at the border all of the manifests details have been checked by CBSA in advance and the officer can release the truck in a matter of seconds.” James May CCS, CITP, PMP of CrimsonLogic (North America) Inc.
